The article presents a study which evaluates the effectiveness of neighbor control in a semiarid grassland in southwestern Saskatchewan, Canada. Investigated is the impact of weather conditions as well as the ecological interactions within the plot. Concluded is the significance of germination on the restoration of the abandoned field.
