- Title
The Sex Life of Mary and Joseph.
- Authors
CAVADINI, JOHN C.
- Abstract
An essay is presented on the Catholic Church's position regarding the perpetual virginity of Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ. Topics discussed include the doctrine of the Immaculate Conception, the traditional belief that Mary and her husband Joseph did not have sex after the birth of Christ, and speculation on what it would mean for someone like Mary, who is exempt from the passions of original sin, to have sex. The union of both Mary and Joseph with the Incarnate Word is also mentioned.
