- Authors
Friedman, M. Reuel; Chandler, Cristian J.; Adams, Brian J.; Hawk, Mary E.; Givens, David L.; Bauermeister, José A.; Bowleg, Lisa
- Abstract
The authors discusses the article within this issue “Optimal Allocation of Societal HIV-Prevention Resources to Reduce HIV Incidence in the United States” by Sansom et al., and expand upon it to focus on building a public health policy framework related to equity in the allotment of resources for the HIV pandemic and its prevention. It considers biases against Black and Latin people, men who have sex with men, and transgender populations who contribute to the largest at risk populations.
