- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a thirty-year-old lady postprandial abdominal pain who had a history of hysterectomy, ulcerative colitis and bilateral oophorectomy. She underwent an angiography which revealed compressions in the superior mesenteric artery (SMA). She was diagnosed with dynamic mesenteric vascular compression syndrome. The article discusses atherosclerosis causing mesenteric ischemia and median arcuate ligament syndrome (MALS) due to compressions in the celiac artery (CA).
