- Abstract
The article provides information on dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) for patients diagnosed with borderline personality disorder (BPD) and substance use disorders (SUDs). It discusses the findings of trials that were conducted to analyze the modified treatment DBT-SUD. It also offers a brief background on the therapeutic treatment. Several skills have been included in the treatment to address problems experienced by individuals with such disorders.
