- Abstract
The article focuses on analysis of philosophical approaches associated with philosophers Charles Sanders Peirce and Gorgias of Leontini. Topics discussed include assessment of general semiotics in works of both philosophers along with Charybdis in semiotics; illustration of Gorgias' rhetorical method regarding his statement over existence; and introduction of mature semiotics by Peirce such as Firstness.
