MINORITIES IN DEMOCRACY.
- Authors
Shija, William F.
- Abstract
In this article, the author discusses aspects of minorities in the democratic form of government in Commonwealth countries. The author mentions that the democratic system enables political parties who have less winners in the election to become opposition, which made them the minority group, while the others are given the right to form the government. He adds that the issues in political practice are not only confined to political parties, but to some group as well, like the religious groups.
