In this article, the author discusses the role of Parliament in solving problems of crime and youth violence in Dominica. She states that before the Sexual Offences Act went into the Parliament, it has been circulated in order for the public to make recommendations. She notes that the Sexual Offences Act is an offence to have sex with a minor, which is under the age of 16.
