- Abstract
The author discusses therapeutic use of atypical antipsychotic (AAP) drugs, which are less likely to cause extrapyramidal side effects. Topics include the efficacy of AAPs, the tendency for greater side effects to be associated with more efficacious AAPs, and the importance of trialling non-specific medications in order to identify their efficacy.
