- Abstract
The article examines the canons 1299-1310 to show the discipline of the Catholic Church on dispositions given to the Church by the faithful, the role of the ordinary in the execution of wills, the establishment of pious trusts, the establishment of pious foundations and modifications made in foundations which involve the celebration of Mass and other obligations. It defines several terminologies including moral persons and juridic persons. It held that the Apostolic See should make the reduction, moderation and commutation of the pious wills.
