- Abstract
The article discusses the application of causation principles in teaching criminal law of law students to identify and apply unarticulated policy reasons in Australia. It demonstrates on how the doctrine of causation principles can be used to effectively teach reasoning skills to students. Thus, it suggests on how curricula could incorporate methods by which students can improve identification and use of policy-based arguments. Also mentioned is the teaching enhanced case analysis skills to enable the student to apply within a problem-based learning method.
