- Abstract
Education has clearly a social value that may be presented through different evaluation indicators. The perception that society can set up on the Social Value of Education (SVE), in addition to having the educational community itself (students, teachers and families), approximates to the idea of construct Subjective Social Value Education (SVE-Subjective). In this sense, we have reviewed various international context questionnaires, which have been identified 45 trials (referred to PIRLS, PISA, EXCALE, SERCE, TIMSS, ICCS, TALIS, etc.) in which there have been identified 111 related reagents worked directly with the construct. As a result, examples of items linked to the definition of the VSE-Subjective are outlined, we also warned different construct dimensions and their possible evaluation indicators. Furthermore, we link each dimension with research procedures that has demonstrated its educational consequences and implications with academic results, thus allowing, directing analysis and measuring instruments in this validation line. In short, we confirm that there is information about this concept, but we found that it is not comprehensively analyzed in relation to school results, for which specifical evidences are proposed.
