- Abstract
The article looks at "Quiet North," a series of paintings by artist Dominique Hui, and "Shooting Geronimo," a short film by artist Kent Monkman. Particular focus is given o the production of racialized masculinities in these artworks and to the ways in which Hui and Monkman use their art to challenge popular notions of home and nation in North America. Details on queer minority expression and on the relationship between diasporic and Indigenous minorities are presented. Multiculturalism is also discussed.
