- Abstract
In present investigation, based on observation of 2-3 classical clinical symptoms of ehrlichiosis, a total 62 dogs were screened for ehrlichiosis. From the screened dogs, nested PCR confirmed 42 dog's positive for ehrlichiosis. Present study revealed that value of PCT and platelet of treatment group was significantly lower than that of control group on the day presentation. There was significant increase in the mean PCT and platelet on post-treatment in all the treatment groups and there was no significant change in the PDW and MPV on post-treatment in all the treatment groups. Present study showed significant increase activated partial thromboplastin time and non-significant changes in prothrombin time in treatment group in comparison with control.
