- Abstract
The article discusses the importance for lawyers to disclose information about themselves and their profession. It explores the limited availability of information about lawyers, which make it difficult for prospective clients to find better and fit lawyers for their legal needs. It outlines the theoretical, moral and public policy justifications for requiring lawyers to disclose specific information to close information gap, promote consumer protection, and improve public confidence.
