- Abstract
The article discusses the significance for Delaware and other U.S. states to know the difference between the best interests of socially responsible investors (SRIs) and the best interests of traditional investors. It outlines the emergence of social entrepreneurship and the Beneficial Corporations. It examines how the existing corporate law in the state will deal with the proposed charter provision of the stakeholder. It contends that the law failed to meet the motives of shareholders.
