- Abstract
The article suggests the importance of banning the laptop use in beginning years of the doctrinal courses. Topics discussed include views of the law professor Ian Ayres on retaliation of his students for imposing laptop restrictions, role of electronic casebooks and classes in expanding technology in education and consideration of access to internet in classes as pedagogical nuisance by some law professors. It further discusses benefits of laptops like preparing law students for law practice.
