- Abstract
Vaccination in India started in January 2021, which was way past the first wave of pandemic in India, hence the efficacy of vaccines for the virus strains prevailing during the first wave cannot be commented upon. Dear Lee I et al. i , We appreciate your interest and the thoughtful insights provided in reference to our manuscript.[1] We understand that current evidence does show that the different types of COVID vaccines have shown variable efficacy towards preventing poor outcomes or death.
