- Title
THE UNWORTHINESS OF NIETZSCHEAN VALUES.
- Authors
Andrew, Edward
- Abstract
The article presents a comparison of German philosophers Friedrich Nietzsche and Martin Heidegger concerning their views on overcoming Platonic metaphysics. It offers reflection on Heidegger's opposition to Nietzsche's discourse on values by affirming the language of worthiness or dignity. In this critique, the author employs Heidegger's critique by proposing that talking about values as subjective or lofty ideals only diminishes the fundamental attachments, loves, and loyalties of man.
