- Abstract
The article discusses the neuralgic amyotrophy (NA), an uncommon disease with symptoms include acute shoulder pain and profound weakness of the upper extremities. Topics include the case study of a 59-year-old man with acute shoulder pain and asymmetric arm weakness, the unremarkable laboratory tests which exclude autoimmune and infectious causes and the cardiac echocardiography.
