- Abstract
The article discusses community supervision in relation to the collateral consequences of arrests and criminal convictions in America, and it mentions the impacts of increased criminal punishment levels on U.S. citizens. Limitations of occupational licensure and voting rights in America are examined, as well as the effects of sanctions on probationers and parolees in the country. Community reintegration and the U.S. Record Expungement Designed to Enhance Employment (REDEEM) Act are assessed.
