- Abstract
The article focuses on the importance of family and pregnancy planning in the U.S. amid the spread of the Zika virus. It mentions the significant number of Americans with poor reproductive health outcomes despite the declines in teen childbearing and unintended pregnancies, the availability of family planning services, such as contraception, pregnancy counseling and preconception health services, and of the needed technology, and some ways on how family planning goals can be achieved.
