- Abstract
The article discusses the photography of author Lewis Carroll and his interest in photographing the children that he befriended. Carroll's interest in photography and the way in which he used it in his writing is considered. Early photographic technology, which Carroll used in his glass-house studio, is discussed. Carroll's poem "The Hunting of the Snark" is examined for its visual and nonsensical qualities.
