- Abstract
The article offers information on a study in context with the national sports expenditure policy in Europe. According to the report, in 2005 the European model of sports financing was much alike the one in the 1990s. As stated, the report provides updated empirical evidence in reference to sport financing structures a number of risks and threats looming over the European model of sports. Reportedly, the study involved all 27 European Union member states including Bulgaria and Romania. According to the study, average amount of sport finance per inhabitant sharply increased in six countries including France and Great Britain.
