- Abstract
According the most used textbooks of Anatomy, the anterior boundary of the inguinal canal is formed by the aponeurosis of the external oblique muscle throughout its length and by the fleshy part of the internal oblique in its lateral third. However, it would have been easier for the students to understand the anatomy better if the model had shown the finer details of the walls of the inguinal canal and formation of the spermatic cord. It is an interesting attempt by the authors to teach the medical students through an indigenously prepared low-cost model of inguinal canal on a difficult topic like inguinal canal.
