- Authors
Baptista, Marlyse
- Abstract
An interview with linguist Noam Chomsky is presented. Chomsky discusses the distinction between Internal (I)-Language and External (E)-Language, the differences between his concept of the poverty of stimulus and Derek Bickerton's linguistic chaos, and theories of markedness. He offers a distinction between discrete and continuous variable. Chomsky also discusses the intersection of generativism and creolistics.
