- Abstract
The article presents a study which investigates the elimination of diurnal rhythm of respiration in the fresh water crab Oziotelphusa senex senex Fabricius by methyl parathion. The study used adult and healthy crabs gathered from paddy fields around Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India. Moreover, the study revealed that exposure to methyl parathion disrupted the rhythm of respiration.
