- Abstract
Core Ideas: Nitrogen management affected nutritive value of endophyte‐free tall fescue R4 and stubble hays.Increases in crude protein of hays across N rates were maximized with late winter and knife application.Fiber contents of R4 hay increased with N rate to 100 lb/acre when applied in late fall.Fiber contents of stubble hay were greater with late‐fall N fertilization.
