- Abstract
The aim of this research to identify the image presented to the Kurdish woman within a sample of the advertisements presented on the Kurdish satellite channels. A total of 28 advertisement messages were taken intentionally from the Kurdish satellite channels, for a full month from,15/3 to15/4 of2022Among the most important goals that the study sought to achieve are a. Learn about the roles that women play in advertisements. B. Identify the types of violence used in advertisements in which women participated. c. Identify the psychological features in which women appeared in advertisements. Among the most important conclusions reached by the research: a. The majority of women's roles came in the form of the housewife who works on household chores such as cooking, bringing food, raising children, and taking care of household affairs. b. The results showed the use of violence in television advertisements, from a woman towards the woman herself, and the silver violence, the most prominent of which includes dissatisfaction, ridicule, ignorance and backwardness. c. In terms of interest in Kurdish clothes in television advertisements, we find very little, as it turns out, this is in contrast to the participants in Arab advertisements who participate in their own clothes.
