- Abstract
This document is an abstract from the Journal of Clinical & Translational Science. The abstract discusses the findings of a dissemination and implementation study of TeamMAPPS, a team science curriculum designed for CTSA hubs. The study used ethnographic methods and dissemination and implementation frameworks to identify barriers and facilitators to implementing TeamMAPPS. The results showed that the toolkit was validated by external community experts and participants expressed enthusiasm and a sense of empowerment. The toolkit aims to improve accessibility and open conversation in research partnerships. The abstract also mentions another study on multigenerational impacts on DNA methylation signatures in autism spectrum disorder, which aims to investigate the potential impact of grandparental factors and multigenerational epigenetic inheritance on the development of ASD. The study recruited participants from the CHARGE study and is currently ongoing. The research aims to provide new insights into the prevalence and underlying etiology of ASD.
