- Abstract
The article discusses the case of a 12-year-old boy diagnosed with Coats' disease with visual recovery after vitrectomy from no light perception vision. The vitrectomy performed six days after visual acuity (VA) decreased to no light perception, can be attributed for the patient's visual recovery. Based on the case, it is suggested that vitrectomy with early removal of subretinal exudates and retinal treatment may be effective in the treatment of Coats' disease with VA of no light perception.
