- Authors
Leuthold, Jane H.
- Abstract
The article examines the impact of income taxation policies on the employment of married women in the United States. The study examines the impact of taxes on the number of hours married women decide to work. Social and financial aspects of a married woman's decision to seek employment are discussed. The study results show that a reduction in tax rates on the income of married women would increase the number of hours worked. The impact of tax rates on family income and personal finance is addressed.
