- Abstract
The article explores the Book of Jubilees, a retelling of Genesis and the beginning of Exodus that was written in Hebrew language around the early second century BCE. The book may be categorized as an early form of midrashic literature as it often supplements the biblical narratives with information like the Midrash. It examines how Jubilees dealt with various difficulties in the text of the Genesis. It also focuses on the aggadic matters of the Genesis chapter 1 to 6:8.
