- Title
SANCTIFICATION BY FAITH: WALTER MARSHALL'S DOCTRINE OF SANCTIFICATION COMPARED WITH THE KESWICK VIEW.
- Authors
Lee, Cheulhee
- Abstract
The article presents the abstract of a dissertation on the sanctification doctrine of theologian and pastor Walter Marshall and the Keswick movement. The study concludes that there are continuities in the doctrine in terms of theological principles. According to Keswick, there is a discrepancy between what Jesus Christ has objectively accomplished in redemptive history and what the Holy Spirit subjectively applies to believers in personal experience. The theological scope of Marshall is much broader compared with the Keswick.
