Khartoum and the Language of War: Who's Really Listening?
- Authors
Reeves, Eric
- Abstract
The article reflects on the strained relationship between the Republic of Sudan and South Sudan. It states that Khartoum, the capital of the Republic of Sudan, has warned Juba, the capital of South Sudan, that unacceptance of its demands will only mean its military action against South Sudan. However, United Nations (UN) Security Council has been ignoring Khartoum's extortionate demands, and has ordered many times to cease war against South Suda. However, Khartoum has always violated UN's this instruction.
