- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 30-year-old pregnant patient, who was suspected of having a fetal cardiac malformation. She underwent fetal echocardiography that revealed a protruded pouch in the left ventricular (LV) apex and the fetus was terminated on the 22nd week. Postmortem autopsy showed ventricular septal defect, LV diverticulum, and midline thoracoabdominal wall defect. It differentiates congenital ventricular diverticulum (CVD) and congenital ventricular aneurysm (CVA).
