- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 61-year-old man who presented with a 3-day history of paraesthesia in the perioral area and lower limbs. Cited are the medical history of the patient, the findings of the physical and laboratory examinations which led to the diagnosis of Adult-onset Still's disease (AOSD) complicated by Guillain-Barre ´ syndrome (GBS), and patient outcome following treatment that included immunoglobulin, prednisone and anakinra.
