- Abstract
The author discusses T cell co-stimulatory factors that orchestrate the sequence of immune checkpoints that occur before the T cell becomes a fully-activated memory T cell. Topics mentioned include exploitation of the CD28 system to improve immune-mediated tumour recognition, members of the tumor necrosis factor superfamily that have co-stimulatory activity, and the importance of OX40 ligand for T and B cell response.
