- Abstract
The article focuses on assessing new peptides that involved in the physiological regulation of the gonadal axis in humans. Topics include regulation of androgenization or estrogenization by hypothalamo–pituitary–testicular (HPT) and hypothalamo–pituitary–ovarian (HPO) axes; genes responsible for migration of neurons into the upper diencephalon, olfactory-bulb morphogenesis and other neuroendocrine processes; and pulsatile hormone secretion allows time-sensitive adjustments to external stress.
