- Abstract
Morinda tinctoria Roxb (Rubiaceae), commonly known as Indian mulberry, Morinda tree is found in all tropical region of world. Traditionally, the whole plant number of ailments such as diabetes, arthritis, liver diseases, cancer, gastric ulcer, diarrhea, dysentery, also used as a anti viral agent, anti inflammatory agent, anti convulsant, as astringent, anti bacterial agent and also used in other heart disease. The aim of the present paper is to give a detailed literature review on Pharmacognosy and pharmacological activities reported till date.
