- Abstract
The article presents a study which determines the accuracy of calendar-based counting methods in categorizing menstrual cycle events in women. It states that a menstrual history questionnaire was completed by seventy-three women and blood samples for the first six days of menstruation were submitted. Results show that 67% of cases attained the progesterone criteria for identification of midluteal phase, while 76% attained the ovulation criteria 1 to 3 days after positive urinary ovulation test.
