- Title
It Takes a Village to Build an International Sex Trafficking Business.
- Authors
Myers, Roslyn
- Abstract
Legal expert Roslyn Myers discusses the fascinating infrastructure of Jeffrey Epstein's notorious sex trafficking ring. She points out that Mr. Epstein's sex trafficking business was hardly a one-man show; rather, it was enabled by a circle of loyal staff, paid-off victims, and other actors--many of them prominent and wealthy--who benefited from his systematic exploitation of vulnerable young women. Many of these players were "integral" to the success of his scheme; however, thus far, most of them have not been prosecuted for their participation. Dr. Myers also elaborates on the legal processes--aside from the untimely death of the perpetrator--that culminated in the denial of justice to a number of Epstein's victims.
