- Abstract
Chinese students often misuse the Japanese auxiliary verbs for giving and accepting when they are putting to use them. On how to improve the output of students' learning Japanese expressions for giving and accepting, the writer of this paper suggests that English majors of Grade III of English Department of Teachers College, Qungdao University be divided into two classes. In one class the traditional teaching method centered upon the teacher's explanation in employed, and in the other class the experimental teaching method featuring group discussions in employed. Finally, a composition test and an oral test are conducted respectively to assess and compare the learning outcomes, and the statistics show that the group discussion is more effective for grasping Japanese auxiliary verbs. This conclusion is an important guiding significance to Japanese classroom teaching.
