- Abstract
In the last two or three decades dynamic assessment has been developed as a new proliferation of psychometrics which question the hypothesis of the conventional standardized testing and is dissatisfied with the static test approaches. It supposes that abilities are malleable and flexible rather than fixed. It aims at modifying examinee cognitive functioning and evaluating his or her latent capacity. Dynamic assessment approach emphasizes on social-cultural and non-intellective factors for learning potentials, so it will be more important to education assessment in China.
