- Abstract
This research aims to analize the relevance of the port of Cartagena de Indias in the interregional commerce within the Viceroyalty of Nueva Granada, related to the fluvial and maritime ports, from 1780-1810. The main analysis reference for this research related to the commercial exchange between main ports, cities, and villages. Defining the different kinds and forms of moving merchandise, taxes payments, and merchants that established commercial networks from imports and exports activities, facilitating the communication around a mayor area within the Viceroyalty.
