- Authors
Hutchinson, Sarah; Braithwaite, Florence Sutcliffe
- Abstract
An interview with Frances O'Grady, General Secretary of the Trades Union Congress in Great Britain, is presented. When asked regarding the opportunity of the trade union movement to assert more influence over industry, O'Grady believes that co-determination is a key part of the solution to building a more balanced economy. She notes the skepticism and caution over employee share ownership schemes. Her views on tax credits, the minimum wage and collective bargaining are also presented.
