The article focuses on importance of the Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution in regulating searches of digital data on cell phone. Topics discussed include importance of search warrants for accommodating police searches and investigation, judicial opinion of the U.S. Supreme Court on the case Riley v. California and United States v. Wurie along with the role of technological advancements in raising questions on constitutionality on police officers.
