- Abstract
The article discusses the Minnesota court case In re Guardianship of DeYoung regarding the guardianship-related duties and responsibilities. Minnesota court of Appeals has examined the issues raised by an autistic adult Jeffrey DeYoung for raising the quality of legal guardianships instituted for autistic children and adults. The court reviewed the case and reported that a guardian can transfer his or her powers and responsibilities to the group home where a ward lives.
