- Abstract
The article analyzes the view of Edgar Wilson Nye, the U.S. humorists regarding the Journalism curriculum in the United states. The author says that the problem of modern-thinking journalism educators to design an effective curriculum might is a struggle of at least a century old. The most distinctive and pragmatic plan for journalists is the one, which was prepared by Nye. According to Nye most of the newspaper men are totally unfit for the high office of public educators and only one out of a thousand journalists is fit for their job. There fore in his curriculum for young journalists he suggests years long meditation and prayers, physical exercise, spelling learning and many other practices in a series.
