- Abstract
The article provides a summary of several American patent law-related judgments which were issued by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in 2014, including litigation matters involving issues such as legal standing, patent infringement claims, and secret prior art. Judicial deference is mentioned in relation to America's district courts. The laches legal doctrine is examined, as well as fee shifting, procedure, and a nonobviousness patent law principle.
